Police were called from a boatie (around 1430), not able to start engine, location not known but could see a road and cars, somewhere in the Mana approaches

CGM activated at 1600 and responded to establish an area of probility  to search. IMT Trevor B had made contact with some other vessels in the area but no potential sightings

MR1 responded with a n around mana Island area search, then questioning boats in the vicinity. located one boat that had towed a broken down down with 1 x POB from Nth End Mana back to Paremata bridges.Police advised (Hugh Main)  and search standown agreed
