6m alloy runabout with 1 person on board fishing near Te Rewa Rewa Point. He was unable to restart his vessel due to a loose fuel hose.

Coastguard Mana were contacted directly and sent out a rescue vessel to tow him back in. Upon arriving at the scene the vessel was able to restart their engine and were escorted back to Mana.
