Vessel loses propellor

A 34' alluminium vessel with 4 people on board lost a propellor 2 nautical miles west of Mana Island. Coastguard Mana responded with CRV Trust Porirua Rescue to head out and tow them back to Mana Marina. They were stood down just as they were crossing the bar because another vessel in the area had responded and taken them under tow.
