5m runabout broken down near Grandfather Rocks

5m runabout broken down with engine and electrical failure near Grandfather Rocks (Tokaapapa Reef).

Person on the shore heard a shout for help and informed the Police. Police then put out a request for assistance via Maritime Radio and a nearby boatie went to their assistance while Coastguard Mana was activating a crew callout.

Coastguard Mana were stood down by Police once it was confirmed that the boat had been towed back to Plimmerton Boating Club.
