Search for flashing light sighted off Titahi Bay

Light sighted off Titahi Bay by local resident. It appeared to be flashing and then disappeared somewhere near Titahi Bay.

Porirua Rescue was deployed to search the area between Mana Island and Titahi Bay. A large are was covered ranging from the eastern shore of Mana Island down towards Boom Rock and then a shore search from Green Point towards Titahi Bay and Rocky Bay.

No vessels were located and Porirua Rescue was stood down at approximately 23:00.
