Runabout broken down near Pukerua Bay

Vessels motor and electrics failed off Hunters Bank. 111 call to police activated
SAR pagers. Crew formed and launched Track line search started from outside
grandfather rocks, cell phone contact maintained with casualty. Casualty set off
hand held red flare, sighted and reported to maritime radio. Casualty located 15
minutes after flare sighting. All safe. Taken under tow. Safe at Mana at 1845.
