Tonight we moved two yachts - one from the pole moorings and one from the marina, over to the breastworks in front of Mana Cruising Club to assist the vessel owners and practice our rope work and manoeuvring.

The first yacht was one that had been (mostly) abandoned on the pole moorings and we took the owner over to collect it. He is bringing it back to scrap it as it has been rotting there for a number of years. This took a while to prepare as there were a number of ropes in the water and all around the boat that needed to be tidied away.

The second was a 13m 15 ton steel ketch that was ordered to be lifted out of the marina to be cleaned.
