Advanced Helm and Navigation/Radar training

MR1 was used to develop advanced helm skills and Navigation/Radar work.

The training started with speed and manouvreing practise, then went into manourvering in confined areas at moderate speed to develop hand / eye  and situational awareness. As dusk fell a strobe  ligh on a dan buoy was used to develop night pick up skills.

MR1 transited back to base using radar navigation, refueled and then some slow speed work inside the marina
