Pt1: Area Familiarisation: Pauatahanui arm of Porirua Harbour 1 hr - Pt 2: David Franks, close quarter helming tuition and assessment MR2 - bring vessel alongside a wharf, finger pontoon use springing off technique fwd & aft - berth vessel in boat dock - astern and ahead - moor vessel to ground mooring buoy - put the bow of the vessel on a pile and secure, three-point turn in confined space - use engines to turn vessel 360 deg - hold station in tidal stream - MOB - bring vessel alongside boats moored between pile & swing mooring -
