SAREX18 Tutorial

Crew were briefed on SAREX 18 and then went through a faciliated workshop on GSMEAC and Incident Management Team activity

GSMEAC is an acronym that can be used for both Incident Management and its a briefing format.

G= Ground    where is the task/job/situation   

S= Situation           what is/has happened, a picture of the incident

M= Mission What are you going to do or been tasked to do  

E= Execution  This is the "What and How" the job will be done

A= Admin and Logistics Facilities and respources/supplies

C= Communications and Command Communications methods/plan, who is leading what
