Helm training

Today we were working on helmwork, rope handling and communication by doing an excercise on the pole moorings in Porirua Harbour. Crew each had a turn on the helm and had to handle the vessel in close quarters to the poles and instruct crew when to attach, release lines in order to swing from one pole to the next with one line attached to a pole at all times.
