Dry run for Grand Traverse - testing communication spots
4 x 4 went up Colonial Knob, to the Airstrip & Onepoto point to test for Kayak leg
TPR went down Open Bay / Green Point area ready for run leg
Pelorus surveyed Onepoto inlet area for possible danger areas with low tide in channel
Communications checked / relayed in form of a crossword - Base had number of letters in each answer; Pelorus had the clues to relay to TPR for answers
Outgoing & incoming Coastguard presidents were visiting unit for evening - went out on TPR
