17 fy runabout off Mana Island, engine/fuel/tangled lines problems. located from intel gathered by IMT who directed the location to head to. Vessel located, they had sorted their initial problems, escorted vessel back to the bridge launch point. vessel had fuel/engine problems several times on the way in.

3 POB, only 2 wearing lifejacketc, cell phone carried, rang during the initial search but went to voice mail. Boat needed to have a working cell and VHF radio
