A derilect yacht was well down in the water at the pole moorings on the way to Onepoto. It had been filling with rain water over a long period and the severe rain overnight (which caused significant flooding in Porirua) had topped it up even more.

The Harbour Master said the owner required assistance to pump out the vessel. Coastguard Mana pumped out 5000 litres of water and the vessel was left floating evenly in the water.
