If you have purchased, or are thinking of purchasing, a boat and would like some help and/or advice with getting on the water for the first time then please get in contact with us and we will endeavour to find someone that can meet you at a boat ramp in the Mana/Plimmerton area. We do, however, strongly recommend that you complete a Day Skipper [6] course (home study option available) which will give you and your family/crew an introduction to the basics of boating for a wide range of vessels.
More courses are available through Coastguard Boating Education - https://www.coastguard.nz/education/ [7]
